Kotkan Meripäivät ("Kotka Sea Days" / Kotka Sea Festival) takes place every August and is a week-long festival of music, markets, sea food and general messing about. These photos were taken around Kotka old harbour, "vanha satama". The ship Tarmo was the first icebreaker bought by the Senate of Finland in 1907 and built by Armstrong Whitworth in Hartlepool, England.
These photos were taken with a Pentax K-5 DSLR in August 2012.
